Your Metaphysical Light
Your Metaphysical Light is beyond the scope of science and physics because we experience more in reality than what science can prove.
There is much more to reality that we can sense or feel. Metaphysics steps into this realm as a philosophical inquiry that fundamentally proposes to make a logical picture of what this kind of reality is and how it works.
Basic Metaphysics
Basically, metaphysics is about all the things that happen to us that we cannot explain – like magic! Like my quote in Becoming Jesse: “The magic is not to be found in a wand or a potion. The magic is in you.”
The magic is your inner Light – a Light that is a wellspring of the metaphysical.
This is the seed of thought that LIGHT is the heart of all we experience, all we conceive, all that we are. We are the stuff of stars. Our Light – our intentions – create the REAL world that we experience here on the earth plane.
Your Metaphysical Light Experience
Last week I wrote of my earliest remembered Light experience, when I first tried out a water fountain – a bubbler – and saw the water spurt out in dazzling lights.
In that story, I recall also that my brothers and sisters wanted their turn. I hopped down, staring back at the spigot, waiting to see the Light spurt again. How I laughed watching it, that first spurt – lighting up like fire-works – over and over again.
When it was time to go home, two things happened: First: The memory of the Light particles – gyrating – spinning – bright – stayed in my eyes. All I had to do was close my eyes – and there it was – behind my eyelids like a meditation.
Second: I thought everyone could see it – automatically. Really – how could they miss it? So beautiful! So full of fun! Laughter! Utter Delight (Don’t you just love how the word Light is in delight!)
Seeing the Metaphysical Light
But…not everyone saw my Lights. I experienced more in my metaphysical reality than what science could prove. Part of this is because not everyone experiences the same thing. This metaphysical Light – a form of energy – comes through you – not to you. It comes when you are open – empty of resistance – ready – to be able to resonate with it. Author and philosopher Anne Morrow Lindbergh expresses this thought beautifully:
“Oh to be as empty and open as a beach awaiting the gifts of the sea.”
Children, in their open, innocent wonder and curiosity, are very often resonating with their Light. But, the wonder of Light which I resonated with at the water fountain – I soon learned – was not necessarily resonating at the same time with those around me. They might join in my contagious laughter, but they did not have the same experience or awareness or perceptions.
I could not share my Light or help them understand the episode I had encountered. I realized that my words were inadequate, and I could not give them my metaphysical Light experience,.
Silence of Metaphysical Light
It is a tricky thing, being in the Light moment, and it is a challenge to attempt to explain to others. Perhaps that is because those metaphysical Light moments often exist in silence: in the perfectly poised moment – in the perfect NOW (as I referred in my blog of our two grands floating in the river of Light on our canoe trip).
(By the way, people have wondered about the picture I posted with that blog, of that amazing beam of Light shining down like a spotlight – right on them. Yes – it is the precise image captured by my camera. Really quite amazing!)
So to continue: in silence, there is often complete understanding and acceptance of this Light, because in the NOW moment you are not only in the Light, but you are the Light. There are no words. No words are necessary. There is simply being.
