Manifesting Dreams like Magic and Miracles
Magic & Miracles Defined
Magic and Miracles seem inexplicable yet are surprising and welcome manifestations of real non-physical power in our physical world.
The dictionary considers Magic to be: the power of apparently influencing the course of events by using mysterious or supernatural forces.
And a miracle is close to that: a surprising and welcome event that is not explicable by natural or scientific laws and is therefore considered to be the work of a divine agency.
It is also seen as: a highly improbable or extraordinary event, development, or accomplishment that brings very welcome consequences.
I would say that both these definitions fit the event about which I wrote last week: when my husband and I were able to make a seemingly impossible purchase of a condo-unit in Florida.
Manifesting Magic and Miracles with Others
I enjoy writing about the magic of manifesting my dream-vision into my physical world. In addition, I want to make note of another energy at work. It was not just our own energies that manifested our dream-vision. There were other humans whose energies helped us every step of the way.
You see, in the process of purchasing that condo-unit, my husband and I did have those moments of doubt and worry. Yet we found inspiration! Yes! We were buoyed up by every person with whom we dealt. It felt like so many of the individuals were just waiting for us! And each one was more than helpful.
Each person we encountered was excited and thrilled for us and our journey. Our spirits seemed to mesh – to resonate – and they could clearly envision our success, even when we expressed our own misgivings. They helped keep us going, on track, to joyfully and appreciatively purchasing that very condo-unit – in God’s marina! It felt Divine!
When Manifesting Your Dream Is Too Close
Looking back, it’s easy to SEE that when we are too close to a situation – especially one about which we feel so keenly – the other people never faltered in lifting our spirits. Perhaps this was for the very reason that they were not too close. It is true that it is always much easier to cheer-on someone else rather than yourself.
So often it is when another person SEEs you as successful that it feels like you will most certainly succeed. Family, friends and business people – and even the people you just meet – have a grand power to assist you in the clear vision of your dream. They may easily embrace your success and believe in you and your dream.
Trying to Explain Magic and Miracles
Many people look at stories of manifesting our dreams as magic – or even miracles. The Stanford Encyclopedia of Philosophy takes miracles seriously, and discusses the concepts and definitions of miracles, as well as arguments for and against the reality of miracles in our world. They use rather dry, scientific-type wording to explain the inexplicable in philosophical terms.
I think magic and miracles are a fun way to explain the unexplainable. Nevertheless, when you realize that every little and big thing in our physical world is manifested it makes it easy to understand how “things” got here!. Non-physical, ethereal thought – imagining, dreaming and envisioning – simply becomes manifested in out physical world!
Commonplace Magic & Miracles
So, magical miracles are actually quite commonplace in our world! In a joyful song from the musical, “Flower Drum Song”, a wise old Chinaman sings that there are “One Hundred Million Miracles happening every day!”
There is Miracle of changing weather – the miracle in an egg – and the miracle in a child:
A little girl in Chungking, just thirty inches tall,
Decides that she will try to walk and nearly doesn’t fall!
A hundred million miracles!
The song goes on to speak of doubters and naysayers:
And those who say they don’t agree
Are those who do not hear or see.
A hundred million miracles,
A hundred million miracles are happ’ning ev’ry day!
Real Everyday Magic
